Days 1-2: Edinburgh, Scotland | Crown Jewels & a Royal Residence
Stay in the iconic Waldorf Astoria Caledonian, enjoying a sumptuous welcome dinner at your hotel. The next day, Edinburgh is yours to explore.
Days 3-4: Butterston Loch | The Heart of Land Rover Country
Journey from Edinburgh to Land Rover Experience Centre Scotland, on the peaceful banks of Butterstone Loch.
Take a picturesque drive through the mountains of a neighboring private estate, culminating at Edradour Distillery. Partake in a whisky tasting, sampling the classics to the wine finishes and the formidable heavily peated single malt.
Travel northward into the Atholl Estate for an exhilarating off-road drive, fording streams and observing the area’s abundance of wildlife.
Tour the Blair Castle.
Day 5: Auchanfree Estate | A Dramatic Drive
Auchnafree Estate is today’s beauty spot, a hidden glen with outstanding panoramic mountain views and a resident population of red deer, grouse, pheasants, Blue Mountain hares and golden eagles.
After a tailgate picnic, drive into the Glenturret Estate, a grouse moor of about 6,000 acres and home to the beautiful Loch Turret.
A drive through the estate provides the ideal path to your home for the night: Gleneagles. One sight of the green, hilly landscape below will help you understand why the outdoor game of golf was developed here around six hundred years ago.
Day 6: Depart Edinburgh
Privately transfer to the Edinburgh Airport for your flight home.
